Here’s a thought provoking quote from the great Jim Rohn. How often have we been successful at something and then downplayed ourselves in front of others with belittling statements like “Oh, it was nothing,” “I was just lucky,” or “It’s not a big deal.” Chances are it WAS a big deal and we had to WORK OUR TAILS OFF to accomplish it. So why do we put ourselves down? There’s no need to brag or be unkind but at least we can say a simple “Thank you” or not say anything at all. We can use the positive energy from our achievements, jump right into working on the next goal, or celebrate with those closest to us.
